SO THIS GUY IN MY ENGLISH IS DOING A PROJECT FOR BIO WHERE HE GETS A DUCKLING TO IMPRINT ON HIM SO HE JUST CARRIES IT AROUND WITH HIM TO ALL OF HIS CLASSES AND I SWEAR THIS DUCK IS THE MOST WELL BEHAVED FUCKING POULTRY IVE EVER SEEN IT JUST SITS ON HIS DESK QUIETLY AND SOMETIMES HE PUTS IT IN HIS POCKET AND IT JUST SLEEPS LIKE WOW YOU GO DUCKY

However, I hope he continues to care for the ducky after the project is over. If he abandons it, imprinted ducks do not deal well. They will cry and scream, attracting predators. :’( They are basically like small toddlers, they follow you around and are wonderful and loving.
I know this because I have been following Fred and Friends, Inc. Please look them up. And if this gets to that guy, I hope he looks them up too. Fred is a (female) duck who was a hatching project. She’ll be 3 in a couple days. Her mom is a pre-school teacher, and Fred goes to school with her nearly every day (Hope, a Flemish Giant rabbit, also sometimes joins them). The kids learn from a very early age care and compassion for animals as well as the all important Be Gentle.
